True to Move Headquarters core, not only will we celebrate the community for their uniqueness, we celebrate our team for their individuality. Our coaching team is full of knowledge, education, and passion. They each bring experience, both on a personal and professional level, of which will be intertwined throughout move headquarters services, supports and training.

We believe that all bodies are worthy of care and respect.

Our aim is to support our community in celebrating and caring for their bodies, whilst having fun through movement. Remaining curious to any judgements we may hold, we aim to help our community work toward fostering a positive and invigorating relationship with movement to support their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health without pressure of diet culture, tape measures, shame or scales.

Maddi started in group fitness back in 2019 and had been working in studio management for just over 3 years now. She completed her Bachelor of Business (Marketing) in 2021. Maddi is passionate about strength and hypertrophy training and making movement enjoyable for you, whatever shape or form that may be!

David

Coach | Exercise Physiologist

Meet David, your warm and friendly coach and exercise physiologist! With over six years of experience in one-on-one and group coaching as a personal trainer and exercise physiologist, David has a passion for movement, strength and conditioning, and injury rehabilitation.

Nikki

Coach | Nutritionist

Nikki

Nikki has a strong passion for all types of movement, and is a firm believer in not partaking in exercise just because you think you should! She loves helping others find what lights them up around movement. Nikki has a keen interest and special love for strength training. She believes that for her, there is no better feeling than constantly surprising herself with what she is physically able to lift.

AMY

Coach | Strength & Conditioning

AMY

Meet Amy, your Strength & Conditioning Coach! Amy is a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach with extensive experience working alongside professional athletes and their elite coaching teams, in order to maximise performance on the field and prevent injury, through training. Amy is a recognised Olympic Weightlifting coach and enjoys all things lifting, technique and education! Amy’s biggest goal as a coach is to enhance the quality of movement, allowing individuals to move optimally, feel their best, and increase their longevity.

Waka

Waka

Waka has been coaching for 4 years now, with 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. He specialises in strength and conditioning, calisthenics, and rowing, using evidence-based techniques to help clients reach their goals. Outside the gym, you’ll find him surfing, running, or rowing with the Tugun Surf Life Saving Club. Waka is passionate about making fitness work for you and keeping it fun, no matter where you’re starting from!

Tori

Tori holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Physiology from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and has been a dedicated personal trainer for the past 3.5 years. She is passionate about helping people discover how movement can transform not only their physical health but also how they feel mentally and emotionally. Tori focuses on the connection between the mind & body, with a personal approach that promotes holistic well-being & longevity. She believes that when we move with intention, everything in our lives becomes interconnected, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

JESS

Originally from Melbourne, Jess started her fitness journey down south before moving to the beautiful Gold Coast. Initially training to be a professional dancer, Jess discovered a passion for helping others and transitioned into the health and fitness industry. She finds immense reward in watching people grow and guiding them to love moving their bodies. Jess is grateful to be part of a community that is accepting and judgment-free, where everyone can come together, be themselves, and MOVE!
